Some days, I really hate my body. I hate the fact that my back and neck absolutely suck. I hate the knowledge that if I lost weight, I probably wouldn’t have as many problems with them as I do. How’s that for a heaping helping of Negative Nelly in the morning?
Seriously though, I am looking forward to Monday morning when I will be able to get back to doing something now that I’ve gotten the problems with my back under control. This weekend, I’m detoxing, trying to get the crap out of my system, fighting to let go of my dependence on soda. If I’m going to make it through the C25K program, I’m going to need to do everything I can to be healthy.
My goal for this month is to get through 12 runs. That’s 3 times per week, and when I say runs, I’m pretty sure that even at the end of the month, I’ll be on the training days that include a combination of running and walking. The point is, I’ll be out there doing something!
